Cookie recipes with pics for the holidays?!

Question: I am going out of state for Christmas to see my in laws for the first time and I want to make some cookies. I love looking at a picture before I bake them so I know what they should look like. I usually dont think about Christmas until after Thanksgiving but I need to decide what cookies I want (variety). If there is a website that gives out recipes with a picture to it that would be great. Thank you.

Tons

Try allrecipes.com (find the holiday section)
kraftfoods.com (holiday section)
foodnetwork.com
northpole.com

Simply do a web search for Christmas cookies recipes

And don't forget how great candy looks on that holiday tray. Simply melt a mix of chocolate (I use a mix of semisweet/milk/chips and some chocolate almond bark, dip in pretzels and decorate while still wet. You can put peanut butter between two Ritz crackers and dip that in, again decorate, you can use white chocolate too. Make nut clusters, use dry roasted peanuts. When decorating use sprinkles, colored sugar or if you dip in chocolate, drizzle white chocolate on top and vice versa.
And don't forget homemade fudge--much easier than most think and white fudge with peppermint is divine.

You are so welcome. I hope you have fun searching for recipes!!! Thank you for picking my answer. Report It

  • I know what you mean I made some cookies last that were delicious but were so ugly that I called them my Christmas ugly cookies. I'm sure that they would have been better looking if I had seen a picture of them.Try the Martha Stewart sit or the food network they show what the cookies are supposed to look like.
