the brownies are really going to want to bind together, and will be more of a hard chocolate tack after you bake it. about the only substitute for eggs is egg beaters

sorry hon, you need an egg.. baking is chemistry

Egg substitutes:
?2 tbsp flour, ? tbsp shortening, ? tsp baking powder and 2 tsp water
or
? ? large banana, mashed

Not sure how your brownies will turn out, but I know you cannot just omit the egg without replacing it with something.

You can substitue a half cup of applesauce.

Your brownies would be kinda hard, I once tried to substitute an egg whites product because I didnt have a whole egg. It just didnt work well. Something about the fat in the egg I guess.

I know you can use applesauce instead of the oil but I dont think you can sub out the egg..Sorry I cant help more and good luck with the baking!!

You can use equal quantity of Mayonnaise to replace egg & butter. I have tried it and it works.

half a cup of apple sauce,(that's what alot of vegans use) or half a cup of canola oil will work just fine

you can make it without egg, just sub the flour for almond meal, extra butter and cornstarch!

Desert Rose has it right- mayonaisse ( real- not salad dressing like miracle whip) is made from eggs and oil. A perfect substitute and sometimes even better as it makes baked goods more moist. Use 1 tablespoon to replace one egg.

I'm a vegan and bake without eggs all the time. In brownies, you're using the egg as a binder and a liquid. It's not being used as a leavener to make the baked good rise. You can use a couple of tablespoons.. not more than 1/4 c. of applesauce, a mashed banana or three tablespoons of cold water with a couple of teaspoons of corn starch mixed in. You probably could also get by with just adding a couple tablespoons of water to make up for the liquid the egg would have provided. If anything, your brownies will be more dense and less cake-like, but they will definitely be edible.
