Question about fish fillets??!

Question: I have some flash frozen sole fillets I am going to make for dinner. It says on the bag to defrost first but I forgot to take them out of the freezer, could I put them in the oven frozen?? I do that with the Highliner Fillets, but they say to cook from frozen, these don't, thanks.

I am going to share with you how I solved this problem

I put the frozen fish in a Zip Lock bag
Squeeze out as much air as possible
Submerge in hot, not boiling water
They should ready to prepare in about 15 minutes.

Let me know when I should arrive for dinner.
I'll bring a cheesecake

I just defrost them in the micro to quickly thew them. They turm out fine. Enjoy

Put the sealed bag in in bowl of slightly warm tap water. Not warm enough to cook them, but warm enough to speed defrosting.

just seal them in a bag and let cool water run over the bag in the sink. the convection from the water current will thaw them in no time.
