brush them with some oil and sprinkle on some seasonings

Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees. On a parchment sheet covered shallow baking pan put your pecans in a single layer. You can flavor the nuts with either sweet or savory dusting's. Spray the nuts lightly with a vegetable spray and choose your seasoning.

Bake for 12-15 minutes at 400 degrees to get the nut's oils loose and then dust with your seasoning. (This is how sugar pecans are made.) Stir the nuts well and turn them over evenly. Roast/bake for another 5-8 minutes and remove from the oven to cool.

My sister introduced me to sweet chapotle pepper pecans this way and they were delicious. Go lightly with the chapotle dust because it will be an acquired taste.

Good luck!

just do it plain for snack or salad, put pecans in a baking pan spread it evenly. bake it for 15 min. at 250 degree .....
