I like Mrs Dash, but not really for beef - it seems to work better on chicken, fish, and veggies, in my opinion. There is little substitute for salt to bring out the flavor in beef. My suggestion is to use a small, and measured, amount of kosher salt. The bigger grains will allow for more "pops" of flavor and ultimately more bang for the sodium buck. However you cook the tips, use a fair amount of garlic powder and coarse black pepper to add flavor and hide the minimal amount of salt. If you are daring with your flavors and like a little more spice experiment with cumin, chili powder, a little brown sugar for a southwestern kick. Adding saute'd onions and mushrooms would add depth of flavor as well.

I don't know what a 'tip' steak is or what Mrs Dash is. However, I would say you're generally alright cooking Sirloin so long as you don't add salt (shame). I would avoid any processed foods (and I'm guessing Mrs Dash is a processed sauce of somekind) - almost all processed sauces contain a lot of salt (which is where your sodium will come from). This also extends to cartoned/canned soup and ready meals...
