Slow cooker beef strognaoff

INGREDIENTS
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2-1/4 pounds round steak, cubed
1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour for coating
3 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed golden mushroom soup
5-1/4 cups water
4-1/2 cubes beef bouillon
1-1/2 cups sour cream
1-1/2 (16 ounce) packages egg noodles


DIRECTIONS
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Roll the beef in flour and saute in the hot oil until well browned, about 5 minutes.
Transfer the meat to the slow cooker and top with the soup, water and bouillon.
Cook on high setting for 8 hours. Stir in the sour cream during the last 30 minutes.
Cook the egg noodles according to package directions. Serve the meat over the noodles.

Slow cooker Macaroni & cheese

INGREDIENTS
1/2 pound elbow macaroni
4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups milk
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper


DIRECTIONS
Coat the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, beat eggs with fresh and evaporated milks. Mix in uncooked macaroni and 3 cups shredded cheese. Transfer to slow cooker, and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
Cook on low for 5 to 6 hours. Do not stir or remove lid while cooking.

Chicken & corn chilli

INGREDIENTS
5 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 (16 ounce) jars salsa
3 teaspoons garlic powder
1-1/4 teaspoons ground cumin
1-1/4 teaspoons chili powder
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
1-1/3 (11 ounce) cans Mexican-style corn
2 (15 ounce) cans pinto beans


DIRECTIONS
Place chicken and salsa in the slow cooker the night before you want to eat this chili. Season with garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook 6 to 8 hours on Low setting.
About 3 to 4 hours before you want to eat, shred the chicken with 2 forks. Return the meat to the pot, and continue cooking.
Stir the corn and the pinto beans into the slow cooker. Simmer until ready to serve.

Easy chicken---- slow cooker. Serve on noodles.

1 (8 ounce) bottle Italian-style salad dressing
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup chicken broth
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
salt and pepper to taste


DIRECTIONS
In a slow cooker, combine the chicken breasts and Italian-style dressing.
Cover, and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
Drain off the juices, and shred the chicken meat. In a medium bowl, mix the soup, broth, cream cheese, basil, thyme, salt, and pepper. Pour over the chicken in the slow cooker. Continue cooking on Low for 1 hour.

Chicken dumplings for the slow cooker.--- Very yummy!!!!

INGREDIENTS
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
2 tablespoons butter
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
1 onion, finely diced
3 cloves of garlic chopped
1 can of corn
2 carrots chopped
2 (10 ounce) packages refrigerated biscuit dough, torn into pieces


DIRECTIONS
Place the chicken, butter, soup, and onion& veggies in a slow cooker, and fill with enough water to cover.
Cover, and cook for 6 to 7 hours on High. About 30 minutes before serving, place the torn biscuit dough in the slow cooker. Cook until the dough is no longer raw in the center.

Spaghetti?
I think you might be asking a little much from one dish. And you give no description of what they like and don't like. So really all we have to go for is: easy to make, and easy to clean up. I think more details are needed.

There are some great cook books like "good food fast". I got a Sorrel and Watercress soup out of it that is absolutely delightful. i agree though that spaghetti is a good one but you can also get a pizza dough from Trader Joes, get an extra one for the kids, so you and your husband can make a fancy pizza with things like artichoke hearts, olives, feta, ect. and get some peperoni for the kids, olives, mushrooms, and let them build their own pizza. It would probably cost like $25 total, would be a bit easy to clean up if your husband rolls out the dough and lets the kids decorate their own pizza. Plus they will like it caus they got to do it themselves.

Pork Roast with Sweet Potatoes
Serves/Makes: 6
Ready In: > 5 hrs

Ingredients:
1 (3 lb) boneless pork roast (or cubed lean pork)
3 large sweet potatoes
1 green bell peppers
1/2 cup apple cider
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
salt and pepper to taste


Directions:

Put roast or cubed pork in the crock pot. Cut sweet potatoes and green peppers in large pieces and add them. Mix the remaining ingredients and pour over all; cook all day on low or about 4 hours on high. Serve with rice. (You may add a cornstarch-water mixture to thicken the sauce.)



Warm Green Bean And Walnut Salad
Serves/Makes: 2
Ready In: < 30 minutes

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons Walnuts; toasted lightly and chopped fine
2 teaspoons White-wine vinegar
2 tablespoons Olive oil
3/4 pound Green beans; trimmed and cut into 3/4-inch pieces


Directions:

In a blender or mini-processor puree 1 tablespoon of the walnuts with the vinegar, the oil, and salt and pepper to taste.

In a steamer set over boiling water steam beans, covered, for 5 to 8 minutes, or until they are crisp-tender, transfer them to a bowl, and toss them with the dressing and the remaining chopped walnuts.



Chocolate Chip Cake with Butterscotch Filling
Serves/Makes: 10
Ready In: 1-2 hrs

Ingredients:
***Cake***
2 cups flour
1 cup brown sugar (packed)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon soda
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/4 cup whole milk
3 eggs
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate pieces, finely chopped
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
***Butterscotch Filling***
1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon water
***Chocolate Chip Glaze***
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate pieces
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon light corn syrup


Directions:

Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour 2 round layer pans, 8 or 9 1/2 inches. Measure all the ingredients except the filling, walnuts, and glaze into a large mixer bowl. Blend 1/2 minute on low speed, scraping the bowl constantly.

Beat three minutes on high speed scraping bowl often. Pour into pans. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool. Fill the layers with Butterscotch Filling, sprinkling with nuts over filling. Spread with Chocolate Chip Glaze over top of cake.

For Filling: Stir together sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Stir in water. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. Blend in butter. Cool

For Glaze: Heat all the ingredients over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted. Cool slightly. Spread over top of cake allowing some of the glaze to trickle down the sides.

it's called tomatoes stew,you can eat it with rice,potatoes,or pasta..
blend,tomatoes,Lil pepper,onions, Lil garlic together..leave to boil till dry..add meat stock ..add vegetable oil.. let it boil for about 15min..fry chicken and beef(after boiling till tender) pour in to the stew add more stock let to boil for 5 more min taste,if you like add some curry... serve with plain white rice and potato salad

Zesty Pork Chops or Chicken Breasts

4-6 Pork chops or chicken breasts
1 cup favorite Italian (vinegar and oil based) dressing
1 1/2 cups Italian style bread crumbs

Marinate meat for 2 hours in Italian dressing turning every 30 minutes to make sure all parts of the meat get dressing.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Roll the meat in the bread crumbs and place on a cooking sheet that has been sprayed with a non-stick cooking spray. Place in oven and bake for 45-60 minutes depending upon the thickness of the meat. Serve with a green salad, mashed potatoes, a veggie and if doing pork chops, applesauce.

take about a pound of hamburger and put it in a frying pan crumble it up . Brown it and add about 1/2 chopped onion with it. drain the fat off of it . Add about 1 tsp salt and pepper. put some elbow maccaroni and about 2 cups water in the skillet with the hamburger and some pepper to taste. any other seasonings you want too. I usually add about a 1/2 tsp of garlic powder. Also add about a cup of tomato juice. cover.Bring to a boil and then turn down on medium. Cook until the macaroni is cooked, stirring occasionally so the pasta doesnt stick. then take the lid off and add about a half a cup of shredded cheese. Serve with garlic bread or a salad.

Homemade beef stroganoff.

Ingredients:
Beef roast or stew meat
Family size can of cream of mushroom soup
package of wide noodles
8 oz of sour cream
Beef bouillon cubes
1 cup of flour
1/2 c. oil


Put oil in the bottom of your pan - make sure you use a pot as this will be a one dish meal. Take the beef stew (or cut up the roast into cubes) and cover with flour. Put the beef stew in the bottom of the pan and let it brown slightly on all sides. (no need to cook through). The next step depends on how much of the sauce/gravy that you intend to make but the rule of thumb is 1 bouillon cube per 1 cup of hot water. Add the bouillon/water mixture the pan. Turn the heat down to low. Cover and let cook for approximately 4-6 hours until the meat is tender and falls apart. When that is completed, add the cream of mushroom soup and sour cream to the pan. Stir completely so that all of the ingredients are combined.

Cook a pot of wide noodles until al dente. When the noodles are done, serve the sauce over the noodles and there is dinner served.

*******When you are making the meal make sure that you stir frequently as you do not want the meat to stick to the bottom of the pan because if you try to scrape it away then it will release the burnt taste and that destroys the entire meal**********
