How long does it take an oven to get warmed up?!

Question: Between 5 and 10 minutes. You should never put food to cook in a cold oven, always pre-heat.

Answers: Between 5 and 10 minutes. You should never put food to cook in a cold oven, always pre-heat.

that all depends on your oven

Preheat? Depends on the oven. Usually 10-15 minutes.

Depends what temperature you want !!!!! DOESN'T IT

depends what temperature is required. i would guess 5-10 mins to reach 200

About 20 mins

3. 37 hours

averages about 10 minutes

Mine takes about 15 mins.

10 to 15 minutes for a high temperature. I don't ever stress over it too much. Put it on whilst you are preparing the dish you are making - it's generally enough time.

Mine does about 10 mins of jogging followed by 5 mins of star-jumps and press-ups. That usually gets it warmed up real good.

Depends if you have switched/turned it on

if it,s a fan oven you don,t need to pre-heat it just bung the food in and set it to temperature

Well,

Dependant of course on what temprature you want to achieve in the first place (obviously if you want a low temp then it won't take long to warm up) but around 10 mins I would say.

Good Luck

For most ovens it takes about 10 minutes or so to warm up. I don't know if there is a difference in a gas or electric oven. I would thing that it would be around about the same time give or take a few minutes. Good Luck.

Cooking something good?? : )

I take it, you are a man asking the question!

I have used gas and electric. when the oven is at selected temp it will make a subtle click sound. it does this because the oven is at the temp you selected and it shuts off the heating source. to be absolutely sure its at optimal temp turn the nob a bit left and right if you hear or feel a click at your temp. the oven is ready.

Most standard electric cookers can take up to 15 minutes! A fan assisted oven slightly less..

Some say (myself included) that a gas cooker needs little or no time to warm up.

Most modern electric cookers though have an indicator light which extinguishes when desired temperature is reached, these tend to be omitted from gas cookers which probably backs up the theory that gas cookers don't need as much (if any) pre-heating..

if in doubt, reffer to the manufacturers manual!

A typical oven takes 10minutes to heat up

A conventional oven about 15 minutes and a fan oven is somewhat quicker .

turn to high for 10 minutes.then turn down to cooking temperature when you put food in.

Depends on the oven and what temperature you want but usually between 10 - 20 mins
