Gingerbread house question...?!
Thanks -
Answers: after you make your gingerbread house... do you eat it? If yes, how long do you wait to eat it? Need your help setteling a debate...
Thanks -
Did you spend lots of time to make it pretty? If you did than wait until you take pictures or show it off to everyone you want to show. Then eat it. What's the point of making one if you don't show it off first?!? You might as well have baked the gingerbread and eaten it with icing and candy, without building the house.
eat it right away
how long do you wait to eat a REGULAR cake ?
in Europe, they make it, they look at it, then they EAT it.
Like we do cakes.
want to look t it a while...take pictures !
id eat it.....but i really dont know...good luck
instead of eating it you could always set it on fire then collect the insurance money.
Yes...after Christmas
Dude i`ll eat that thing right away
i would wait a few days because if i worked hard to make a gingerbread house i would want to look at it for a while
No, I never eat it. It's been sitting out, getting stale, maybe had a fly or two land on it. I just ptich it after NYD.
wow really early for ginger bread houses but waitt about a week or 2 i use my ginger bread houses as a centere peice so i use it intill i find some preety christmas flowers
Generally speaking they can last about a fortnight in an airtight container this is the home made variety, any longer they dry out and become stale. Ones brought from shops tend to last longer but do not taste as good! Have been making ginger bread houses for Christmas for years now so I have done lots of eating of them so I know what tastes best!
Ewww, no. Food that is played with or built with should never be eaten.
eat the ginger bread man
I am so allergic to ginger it is not possible for me to even make one. I think it could sit for a bit, because it is a lot of sugar....but it can go stale.
Peace.
how funny is this question! we never eat it. we spend thanksgiving making it with grass and trees and lots of crap all over it and then it sits on the table as a centerpiece until christmas. then we throw it out. its probably stale by then anyway
You can have it; I don't like ginger.
The one time I made one with my kids, it sat in the livingroom the whole month of December (as a decoration) and then we threw it away. It wasn't that appetizing.
