Lemon pepper and garlic I fried them then do a rice with a salad.

curry!

i love it fried and eaten w/rice and diced tomatoes.

......................nice pic

I would season it with italian bread crumbs, parmesan and put a little olive oil in the pan and bake it at 350 for about 20 min (be sure not to overcook)...Yummy:)

butter, lemon and dill... but it will still taste like the river. At least every other tilapia filet has for me. Not my favorite fish.

Lemon pepper

Your hot, you should come cook dinner for me. In all seriousness though maybe season it with a spicy jamaican jerk seasoning and then do a mango or star fruit relish or something like that. A cajun seasoning could also be good as well.

They normally have plenty of yummy ideas!

Fresh tilapia is best grilled (Inihaw, as is!). Nothing on it. Just prepare a matching sauce!

Its hard to find an original recipe for any fish so i would just go with salt and lemon juice and bake with a seasoned bread crumb topping and possibly garnish with dill

You need the following:
- Italian Parsley.
- Fresh Garlic.
- Salt.
- Red Pepper (Powder).
- Fresh Lemon.
- Olive Oil.

Perp:
- Chop parsley and garlic, and mix together.
- Make ? inch cuts on each side of the fish (Only if you are using non fillet fish).
- Salt your fish, and add red pepper too.
- Add lemon juice to the fish.
- Stuff the parsley and garlic mixture inside the fish.

Baking:
- Using a tray cover with Aluminum foil.
- Pour some olive oil at the bottom.
- Lay your stuffed fish.
- Bake for one hour/350.
- It is recommended to use skews at the bottom of the tray to avoid the fish from sticking to the bottom.

Done

Try this recipe :
14 ounces tilapia fillets
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons lemon juice

Combine oregano, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and salt.
In a shallow bowl combine the melted butter and lemon juice.
Dip fish into butter mixture, then press into the spice mixture.
Place in a shallow casserole sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
Bake at 450 degrees for about 15 minutes, or until fish flakes when pressed.

i don't now what is tilapi exp your salve

I usually grind saltine crackers with lemon pepper and garlic salt and i season the tilapia lightly and then coat the fish and fry it until golend brown and then i serve it with lemon slices, guacamole, and chips and salsa

While in the Florida Keys several years ago I had grilled tilapia served with a pineapple-mango chutney - talk about delicious! I immediately came home and made the dish for a few family members. My copy-cat version went like this:

1 can of crushed pineapple, draned
1 ripe mango, chopped into small cubes
1 jalapeno pepper, chopped into tiny pieces, seeds removed
1/4 c of minced red onion
1 handful fresh cilantro, torn up
1/4 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp. salt
the juice of one lime

Mix all ingrediants above, and let sit in the fridge for several hours while flavors come together.

Serve grilled tilapia over a bed of black beans and rice, with a large scoop of chutney to top. Really yummy with a side of fried plantains.

Takes me right back to my vacation! Hope you enjoy as well.

I just squirt some lime over it and top it with buttered bread crumbs... and bake for 12 minutes at 400. This is one of my favorite fish and I have it often.
