Hi Chloe

I really believe fresh green juices can do amazing things for the body as we saw on Oprah. Kris Carr is such an inspiration in how she has managed her cancer that was labelled incurable. She has so much vitality.

Here's the drink Dr Oz made:

“Freshness In A Glass”
4 Celery Stalks
1 Cucumber
1 cup Spinach
1 Lemon
1 Lime
1 large Apple
1/2 Inch Piece of Ginger (peeled)

A Little Parsley was also mentioned.

Mix everything together in a Blender! A high speed blender like a vitamix will turn into into a super smooth smoothie otherwise it might be a bit chunky. You can also use a juicer instead but you will miss out on the fibre.

If it’s too much for you at first, reduce some of the greens and have more apple juice or add carrot juice to sweeten. Even a small amount of greens is going to be great for you and as you get used to it, you can add more.

No. I miss that show. what's the recipe?

no i havent tried it.. but whats the purpose of drinking it?

i made the Dr Oz's green drink today. i did not think it was so bad. however, i did use two apples no parsley 2 sweet n lows and added water. this drink gave me a boost of energy almost instantly. my children even drank some.
