Insects in food?? What should I do?!

Question: A couple of days ago I found several cockroaches in my meal. They were alive. I threw them out and ate the food, no big deal... BUT today I've found cockroaches in my meal again! And again they were alive!

What should add into my food so that I wouldn't have live cockroaches there? Will arsenic work?

put boric acid all around baseboards its cheep , just a little every where they run they will die..........don't put anything in your food to clean it keep all knew food in the fridge until they are gone

I'd go with some simple raid, it's cheaper than arsenic, and it adds flavor, too

You could just try eating the cockroaches.

Just put a little liquid LSD, won't kill em but hey...why the hell not?
Seen "Joe's Apartment"? Maybe they'll sing for ya...

you have to move maybe thats the problem

Have you tried cooking the food with them in it? I bet the added flavor might not be too bad.

Naaahhh, you wanna skip the arsenic. My first husband kept finding roaches in his food so I added a little arsenic because, let's face it, it does sound like a good idea.

But then he freakin' died! And they actually wanted to arrest me for it! What a bummer.

Was this in public or in your home?

I'd say eat them, those things can live through a nuclear blast. Maybe you'll inherit some of their super powers!

I am sure that arsenic will work but I would just call the Orkin Man!

Are you sure they're cockroaches? Meal and flour usually gets weevils if it's been around a while (the weevil eggs are already in there when you buy it and the longer you keep it in your pantry, the more likely they'll hatch.)

Sure, put arsenic in your food, that would work.

Nuke it in the micro for 5 minutes and they'll die. Add a bit of ketchup and you won't know the difference.

If you really have a problem with eating them, you can buy some mice from the pet store and turn em loose in your kitchen because they eat roaches. But you'll have to get some cats for the mice eventually. Then, possibly dogs, for the cats. When your insect and rodent problems are solved, turn the dogs out into the alley because they are really filthy animals that you don't want living in your house.

That sounds like a GREAT idea!
