Answers: im not good with side items the only thing i can think of is asapragus.

Some lemon spiked mash potatoes....I always serve this with my baked salmon....my fiance loves it!

How about a salad, wine, and the asparagus.

I like my salmon broiled, but any veggie, or even pasta (angel hair seasoned with a little olive oil, herbs, fresh crushed garlic. Sprinkle on some good parmesan or romano cheese. Lay the salmon across the top. Salad.

I would say a wild rice w/herbs w/ a salad w/greens w/ dried cranberries w/a sweet vinagerett dressing and the asparagus of course.

Baked asparagus with a bit of parmesan cheese on it.

Risotto (like rice) is really good with salmon as a side dish....you can buy it in a package and just follow the instructions and it is super easy and very tasty.

Mashed potatoes and leeks with a creamy parsley sauce, is my favourite way.

something that does not have strong flavor itself as salmon normally does. Baked potato, rice (wild or white), green beans. Salad to add even more color

How about cole slaw and macaroni and cheese ?

Rice pilaf is nice. Try serving the salmon over fresh field greens.
