Anyone have the recipe for no-bake cookies? Cocoa, peanut butter, instant oats,they set up quickly after oats.!


Question: 1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups quick-cooking oats (not instant)
1/2 cup coarsely chopped nuts

1. In a saucepan over medium heat, cook butter, milk, sugar, and cocoa for one minute after it begins boiling.
2. Remove from heat stirring in remaining ingredients.
3. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper and allow to stand unrefrigerated for 1 hour.

(They set up a lot quicker than 1 hour in my experience!)

No Bake Cookies

A recipe for no bake cookies using oats, cocoa, and peanut butter.

INGREDIENTS:
* 2 cups granulated sugar
* 1/2 cup evaporated milk
* 2 tablespoons cocoa
* 4 ounces butter (1 stick)
* 3 tablespoons peanut butter
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1/2 cup chopped pecans
* 2 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats

PREPARATION:
Combine sugar, milk, cocoa, and butter in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly; boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla, peanut butter, and chopped nuts.
Add oatmeal and stir to blend thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Makes about 4 dozen no bake chocolate oatmeal cookies.

1/2 cup peanut butter

DIRECTIONS
In a saucepan bring sugar, cocoa, margarine, milk, and salt to a rapid boil for 1 minute.
Add quick cooking oats, peanut butter, and vanilla; mix well.
Working quickly, drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper, and let cool.

1 stick oleo
1/4 cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 cup peanut butter
3 cups oatmeal

mix all ingredients except oatmeal and peanut butter
melt then bring to full boil
count to 60
remove from heat
stir in peanut butter
mix with oatmeal
drop by teaspoon on waxed paper

AUNT MAMIE'S NO-BAKE MISSOURI COOKIES

Boil for 1 minute:

2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 stick butter
2 tbsp. cocoa (optional)

Remove and add:

2 cups peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups rolled oats

Drop spoonfuls onto wax paper. Let cool. Enjoy.

MISSOURI COOKIES

1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cocoa or 1 sq. baking chocolate
1/4 cup real butter
1/4 cup milk
1 tbsp. molasses
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 1/2 cups quick cooking oatmeal

Mix sugar, cocoa, butter, and milk in heavy skillet on top of range. Heat until bubbly. Add vanilla, peanut butter, and oatmeal; mix well.
Drop on waxed paper by the spoonful. Let cool.
