Does anyone have the recipe for the dressing they put on the salads at Japanese Restaurants?!
Answers: It's not the Shrimp sauce, but the other orangy looking sauce that they put on the salads.
I like it too.
I hope someone knows.

INGREDIENTS:
2 tbsps rice wine vinegar
3 tbsps vegetable oil
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp sake
1 tsp grated ginger
PREPARATION:
Mix all the ingredients other than oil in a bowl. Add oil gradually into a bowl and mix well.
*Makes 2 servings

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup minced onion
1/2 cup peanut oil
1/3 cup rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger root
2 tablespoons minced celery
2 tablespoons ketchup
4 teaspoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons white sugar
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
DIRECTIONS
In a blender, combine the minced onion, peanut oil, rice vinegar, water, ginger, celery, ketchup, soy sauce, sugar, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper . Blend on high speed for about 30 seconds or until all of the ingredients are well-pureed.

hi there, My friend actually use to work at a benihana's resturant and he gave me the recipe for the salad dressing because its the only salad dressing my husband will eat. It actually tastes just like it. enjoy!!
