Maybe you can do roasted Chicken with peppers, asparagus and potatoes? (If I were you I would add the asparagus during the last half of the cooking process, to avoid overcooking. You can season the chicken and the veggies all w/ the same seasoning. You could make the rice as a nice side dish with butter and garlic or...
Use the rice to make rice pudding with apples and raisins if you can, you will need eggs and milk for the pudding though.
Bake your chicken quarters by rubbing them with some butter and seasoning them with a little garlic powder, salt and pepper and roast your potatoes with them or bake them as the chicken cooks. Steam the asparagus in the microwave. Make a fruit salad for dessert.
okay, you seem to be in a pickle. what you do is, are you ready? Here's what you do, now keep reading or you'll never get it, you're gonna miss it, here ya go, here it comes, u ready?...
Take her to the Old Country Buffet, or O'Grady's
Buffet's are a girls REAL best friend!!!
Do not stress out...........just take her out to dinner or order in.
Maybe you can grill or order something.
Pizza hut.....
Season the chicken with seasoned salt and pepper. Roast on a rack in the oven at 350 degrees about 45-60 minutes. The juice should run clear when pierced with a fork.
Serve with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed asparagus.
Bert
Take and cut the chicken in pieces season in salt and pepper and olive oil if you have it and fry on each side for five Min's and put in the oven on 350 for 45 Min's. Chop the asparagus and peppers and steam with butter or olive oil make the rice and serve as for dessert cut the fruit up add lemon juice and send hubby for a can of tomato's to put over the chicken in the last half hour and vanilla yogurt for the fruit and some Graham crackers .
Good luck
Make mashed potatoes, cook the asparagus w/ the peppers, steam the chicken and with the skin, if its still there, with some scallions, make some smoothies, if she is the fun type . The rice and ground beef? I wouldn't put that in there, hope it helps!
maybe, you should run down to the nearest Chinese restaurant and put it all in ur finest dishes and tell her you made it.
look in a recipe book and find an easy thing to make
Appetizer:
