Quick, Help for indian cooking!!!!!??????!


Question: I have made a chicken korma from the madhur jafferey cookbook and put in the exact measurements it asks for and it is ridiculously salty.
Anyone know what I should do????
I'm having friends for tea and I might have to throw it way.
PLEASE HELP??

Whenever food is too salty add some water and some potatoes and the potatoes will absorb some of the salt - the more potatoes the more salt is absorbed.
Although these do not form part of the dish you can discard them once you have sorted out your dish.- alternatively you could add more spices to them and do a potato dish as well!

add lots of cayenne no one will notice the salt!

Add a potato to the curry and simmer - I have heard that the potato will absorb the salt!

I would cut the potato into wedges first!

put some tomatoes in not tin fresh chop them in half first this will do the job
