When making knoefla soup?!

3 cups flour
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
water
1 cup Coolwip or 3 tablespoons of milk powder
4 stalks celery
4 potatoes
1 onion

Mix flour, eggs, salt, and enough water to make a stiff dough. Knead. Boil a few quarts of water in soup pot. cut dough into bits with a scissors and drop into boiling water. boil a few minutes till cooked. add milk or Coolwip. add salt and pepper to taste, sliced celery, cubed potatoes, onion, and boil until tender.

WHIPPED CREAM SUBSTITUTE

1/3 c. ice water
1 1/4 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. dry milk (nonfat)
2 tbsp. sugar

Combine water, lemon juice and vanilla; stir in nonfat dry milk powder. Beat 5-10 minutes or until stiff. Add sugar, beat 1-2 minutes. (If topping separates beat again just before serving.) Each serving amount: 2 tablespoons.
