Freezing turnip?!

Question: do i have to blanch the cut up, pieces before i freeze it? and how long should it be good for in the freezer? 3-6 months?

We freeze turnips all the time. Cut them up in pieces (not too small) or if you have small ones leave them whole. Yes blanch them and cool, then freeze.

When you get them out cook but try not to stir too much because they do tend to mush if you cook them too much out of freezer.
