When stewing - Do you put hole carrots in yours?!

Question: If you first put the hole IN the carrots, you'll find there's more room in the pot for gravy.

Answers: If you first put the hole IN the carrots, you'll find there's more room in the pot for gravy.

Yes indeed I do.

Chopped in 1/2 to 1 inch pieces. Evenly cut so they cook the same.

No, I chop my carrots in stews, but big chunks.

i put big chunks in mine, depends on how you like it

If I'm making roast i use the whole small carrot..if adding in stew i chop up to bite size and only let it cook for the last hour , otherwise they will be too mushy.

no...but big chunks are cool

I use the baby carrots, and those I use whole.

nOt,

Nah.

I don't like to leave many ingredients whole, if any.

I like to peel my carrots and cut them up in nice sized chunks. Same with 'taters.

Hay how ya been? Long time no see!
No I use baby carrots or cut them in 1/4's!

HELL NO

No, I prefer slicing the carrots.

I put baby carrots in mine.

I put whole baby carrots into mine.Actually they are not baby carrots but large carrots that go through a machine that peels, cuts, trims and round off the ends,to make them look like that.

I chop 'em up chunky

yes whole half sliced or strips whole are taster

I put whole baby carrots in. But if using regular carrots I slice them into chunks.

You mean 'whole' carrots? If they are baby ones, yes. If not, I chop them into bitesize chunks. Having bigger chunks of things in stews allows them to retain their individual flavours.
