Question: I cook a lot, this is just too easy and I guess I am trying to make it difficult. Thats my style.

What I have done is throw them in the refrigerator the night before and then cook them in the oven when I'm ready to eat it or whatever. I don't think it's necessary to that them though; just make sure the juices come out clear.

Just throw them right on the BBQ they will thaw and cook nicely

from frozen is fine

okay always thaw otherwize the bit in middle wont be cooked and you could get sick

frozen

Cooking from frozen is fine.

don't freeze them

even at Wendy's for $1.29 they know that

buy fresh meat from happy free range cows

then cook it that day or the next

Either way is fine. I always put mine on Frozen and they turn out great.

I almost always cook meat from the frozen state.
Hamburger patties, roast, steak, etc.

A lot of the juice escapes if you thaw first, BUT it's easier to get the burger equally done if it's thawed.

If you cook from frozen, start with high heat, barely brown both sides (which shouldn't take but a minute or so), then turn down to low or medium low and let it cook very slowly. It'll still be juicy but done through.

Don't add any spices or salt till it's 2/3 done.

When I fix burgers I get huge packages of fresh burger, pat out and fry all of it, then cut the cooked leftovers into cubes and freeze for chili or spaghetti.

If they are thin, toss them on to cook while frozen. They will thaw and cook just fine.

If they are thick, you may want to check the center before you serve to see if they need more time to cook. Serving ground beef that is medium-rare is a health hazard. That being said, there is nothing wrong if it's Medium. lol

You could do either, really. They'll still cook fine.
