Have you ever heard of a cookie recipe you can make in a frying pan?!


Question: I sure have. They are good too. Well my husband likes them. Coconut is not my favorite.

Fry Pan Cookies
1 1/2 cups chopped dates
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups rice Krispies
1/2 cup chopped nuts
chopped coconut
Combine first 6 ingredients in a frying pan over low heat. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool, add 3 cups of rice krispies or a similar cereal, and 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Mix the cereal into the date mixture well. Form into balls and roll each ball in chopped coconut.

FRY PAN COOKIES

1 1/2 c. chopped dates
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
1 pkg. angel coconut

In skillet mix eggs, sugar, butter, and dates. Stir constantly until thick, about 10 minutes, then add chopped nuts and Rice Krispies. Roll into small ball and roll in the coconut.
