What kind of veggie goes good in Alfredo sauce?!
Answers: What kind of veggie can I put in Alfredo sauce I know chicken goes good with it but I want to know if it sounds good to put a veggie in with the sauce or just on the side Thanks
brocoli, carrots, onions...anything really...
unless it's just me and i would eat anything with alfredo sauce..mmmm
is it just me...oh no its lunchtime:)
broccoli
broccoli and mushrooms
I would say no to the Alfredo sauce- putting veggies in it is complete irony. It's like working out for 2 hours and then lighting up a cigarette as soon as you leave the gym.
brocolli, asparagus, peas or even spinach are good choices, especially with chicken. Or you can put it on the side. Either way.
Add some chopped spinach or chopped broccoli and serve on pasta. Zucchini, peas and carrots also go well.
Broccoli
Green peppers
Red peppers
Onions
Carrots
Squash
Asparagus
Broccoli definitely!!
Try arugula, broccoli rabe, leeks, and even fennel.
I think little broccolie florets is soooo good in alfredo, just make sure they are nice and dry before you but them in because...yuck...alfredo sauce and water is just nasty.
Peas
You can also add bacon although I know it's not a veg.
Broccoli goes excellent with it! Anything you would eat with a cheese sauce would go with it.
Look up primavera...it is the vegetable version of like a chicken alfredo. You can add the chicken to the primavera as well...
I like to add mushrooms and edamame
