Is it "Soup Weather" where you live? What kind of soup?!
Answers: I'm making Chicken Noodle Soup out of weekend leftovers.
You have to quit reffering to the hamsters you pick up in seedy bars as "weekend leftovers"...
spanish bean soup it is yummy . Have recipe too . If you would like it then please email . good luck and god bless.
Minestrone Tuesday.
Apparently McDonald's thinks so. Where I live (southern edge of Lake Erie) their menu suddenly has soup-chicken noodle and cheddar broccoli-which has not been avaliable until a couple of weeks ago.
Yes, Home Made Veggie. YUMMY
Still too hot on the desert for soup...unless it's late in the evening (or before 8 AM). So, I can finally enjoy some coffee, tea or hot chocolate early in the morning---and some minestrone or (can't spell this right, but have the ingredients) pastafagoli (pronounced pastafazzool) in the evening.
It is soup weather here. Yesterday I made Chicken Noodle and last week I made a lentil with polish sausage one day and a broccoli/potato/cheese on another. I love soup weather!!
Potato soup with a big chunk of cheese in it! Sounds good to me...I think I'll make some tonight.
It's warmed up this week, but I'm eating soup anyway. I love potato,
tomato,
white chicken chili,
chicken and noodles (I use my spatzel machine)
split pea and smoked ham
beef stew with barley
red chili with elk meat
I live in the midwest and while today is pretty nice (upper 60's) it's been COLD! So I'd say soup weather is totally here!
I love chili when it gets cold. Chicken soup just doesn't do it for me -not hearty enough! I do like to make clear veggie soup tho (veggie stock, onions, carrots, garlic, broccoli, ginger, red curry powder, rice or potatoes).
When I'm lazy I love the Campbells Chunky Turkey Pot Pie and Campbells Selects (I think) Italian Wedding Soup.
Hooray for soup!
I love roasted butternut squash soup, and I recently made pumpkin soup as the it was Haloween.Another favourite is spinach soup with a nice splodge of creme fraiche.

Soup. The most wonderful comfort food in the world. I could eat soup 2 or 3 times a day in any weather.
Lentil soup sounds good to me for today.
clam chowder, split pea, homemade tomato and grilled cheese sandwiches
I live outside of Buffalo and it's always soup weather here.
In the summer all the big church picnics around here sell chicken chowder and you have to get there early or it's gone. It can be 90 degrees out-doesn't matter.
Anyway, I make a few originals including:
Homemade Chicken Vegetable Noodle Chowder
American Chop Suey (hamburger soup)
Minestrone
Ham and Bean Soup
Beer Cheese Soup (a Thanksgiving tradition)
French Onion
Creamy Tomato
I think I'll make some tonight-thanks for the question!
Homemade potato soup; with potatoes' bacon slices' cut fine milk; and lots of butter; and some cut up slices of chedder cheese. I love this soup; and then rice pudding for desert...yummy.,
Spit pee soup. Good ol' San Francisco fog. Oh, wait, the sun is shining! Well don't that beat all. Praise Ra! This is truly a rare occasion. I really recommend anyone reading this to drop everything and head for San Francisco by the Bay. A day like this may never come again.
It is chilli weather where I live. chilli with lots of beans (wind is blowing)
Well, we're having Indian Summer right now...it's in the 60's but tomorrow it's back to WI November, so it's definitely soup weather! Later this week I'm making Wisconsin potato cheese soup...Lots of cheese, hot sausage slices, onion, celery, carrots, spinach,brocolli....YUM!
I make an awesome chicken and dumpling soup too! Maybe next week!
It's just starting to cool down here, Central US, so we eat alot of beef stew or chili.
It is never soup weather here. In Houston, there is like 1 week out of the year that it is cold enough to be called soup weather. When that week does come around, we always make homemade "six-pack chili" Yummy!
it is soup weather where i live, and i plan on making a ganja soup, it is so full of vitamins.
I like most any kind of soup. Being a single guy, when I grill chicken, I make a little extra and then make chicken soup for my next meal. I use jalapenos in it with some pasta noodles and whatever veggies I feel like putting in there, like carrots sliced real thin, onions etc.
It's chicken soup weather here. I'm not looking forward to homemade chicken pot pie weather or pot roast weather. However, I will be happy again when it's hot dog and potato salad weather.
