Pita Pockets?!

Question: I bought some whole wheat pita pockets. I know that I can make sandwhiches with them, but does anyone have something fun to fill pita pockets with? Or recipes? Thanks!

mmmm good choice.
ok this is what i do with pitta breads.
1 i put them in the toaster and toast them so they are warm.
2 if you like cheese and ham try that in a warm pitta bread.
3 the best pitta bread pocket is chicken fillets grilled with smokey bacon wrapped round it.
you slice the pitta top off and then thinly slice the chicken up and with a fork put the chicken in the warm pitta.
4 you could allways add mayonaise or any other sauce you like just use your imagination you will be surprised at what you conjure up trust me i know.
5 if your a vegetarian you could chargrill some vegetables like peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, and any other veg you love to eat.

little red sauce and cheese and little toppings and healthy pizza

i like hummus and veggies or falafel...pitas also make great pizzas...leave them whole, drizzle olive oil on top & broil until it's slightly crisp. put sliced tomatoes, feta cheese and bell peppers on top...broil again and enjoy...yummy!
