Pork chops with stuffing?!
Thanks.
Answers: I'm making stuffing and pork chops for dinner tonight. Is there anyway I can mix the two and bake them with out the stuffing being too mushy or crunchy? Most of the time I can figure cooking problems out on my own but, I need help on this one.
Thanks.
I make them in a loaf pan. I make the dressing, then pack some at the end of the loaf pan and then put in a pork chop and then some dressing and so one. Depending on the size of the chops and the amount of dressing you put in between, you can get 4-6 chops in the loaf pan. (I only have one, you might have more.) Then I bake them. With some roast potatoes, it makes a fancy meal and it's all done in the oven.
you can bread them up a little bit and makes the stuffing on the side in a baking dichs

Fancy but good and simple. I have also used prepackaged stuffing mix, but the recipe is simple enough to make it from scratch. A good way to "prep" this meal: Brown chops the night before and store in fridge. This cuts down on prep time after work.

I don't know if this will be of help to you, but I prefer the stuffing as a side dish.
