Celsius and Fahrenheit...?!


Question: i have a recipe book where all the temparatures for cooking with a microwave oven is written in farenheit scale. but my oven's manual says how to set it to any specific temparature only in celsius. now i'm confused. like when its 350 degree Farenheit for a particular recipe, how can i set up the corresponding temparature in Celsius on my oven? for information, i'm using an LG oven.

Use it

Look at your regular oven. It will probably have a conversion table on it.

Subtract 32 from Fahrenheit temperature, then divide the answer by 9, finally multiply that answer by 5. For example, 350 degrees F-32=318/9=35.33x5=176.65 or 177 degrees Celsius. That is why 32 degrees F equals 0 degrees C and 212 degrees F equals 100 degrees C. An interesting result occurs as the two scales converge -40 degrees F equals -40 degrees C.
