Is homemade cranberry sauce normally served warm, cold or at room temperature?!

Question: Nobody in my family likes cranberry sauce, but another family came into my life this past weekend, so we're having them over for Thanksgiving dinner and thought I should make it. I can't stand that stuff in the can.. the suction noise... ewww!! Anyways, since I've only made it one other time, I don't remember how it's served. I don't need recipes, I use the one on the package, but haven't bought them yet. So could someone tell me how it's served??? Thanks!!! (I know.. dumb Thanksgiving question, but I have nothing else to ask now!!)

Cold or room temperature. Never warm.

i have always had it cold.....

I think warm to room temp is perfect.

It's best served cold.

personal preference- but I like room temp and I like the whole berry cranberry sauce not the gelatinous stuff - happy thanksgiving !

I make mine several days ahead of time, then refrigerate. On Thanksgiving, I take it out several hours before dinnertime so that by the time we eat it is room temperature. Try a few drops of almond extract added to the sauce after it is cooked...delicious!

you need to chill it so it sets up, but you can let it set out to be served at room temp when dinner is served... (I always substitute a cup of orange juice for one cup of water, and add a little orange zest.)

I like it very very cold. Happy Thanksgiving hon!!

cool room temp is how i serve my cranberry sauce
i always make it the night before...so it can set

serve it cold, is the best way to serve it then that way it is set up and not runny
