Answers: I usually just eat it by the plateful. . . . .

Here are a few, just wrapping. They are all good! Enjoy!!!

Bacon wrapped water chestnuts

INGREDIENTS
1 pound bacon
2 (8 ounce) cans water chestnuts
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup chili sauce

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Cut each strip of bacon in half. Wrap one strip around one water chestnut. Secure with a wooden toothpick. Place in shallow baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 minutes.
While the wraps are baking, in a small mixing bowl combine brown sugar, mayonnaise, and chili sauce to make barbecue sauce. After the wraps have finished baking, transfer them (removing them from the grease) to a second shallow baking dish. Pour the sauce over the wraps.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 10 to 15 additional minutes, or until bacon is crispy. Serve hot out of dish with toothpicks.

Bacon wrapped shrimp

INGREDIENTS
16 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
8 slices bacon
barbeque seasoning, to taste

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
Wrap shrimp with 1/2 slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick. Be sure and use the large shrimp--the cooking time for the shrimp and the bacon is similar. If you use medium-sized shrimp, you might want to precook the bacon a little--over cooked shrimp are tough and rubbery--and a real shame.
Line a jelly roll pan with extra heavy duty foil, and place baking rack in pan. Place the shrimp on the rack, and sprinkle heavily with the barbecue seasoning, turn and sprinkle second side. Let the shrimp sit for 15 minutes. The bacon will turn from creamy white to a little opaque, and the seasonings will soak in.
Cook the bacon for 10 to 15 minutes. The rack keeps the shrimp from sitting in the draining bacon fat. With a little luck, you won't tear the foil -- you can throw that away and only have to scrub the rack.

Bacon wrapped jalapeno

INGREDIENTS
6 fresh jalapeno peppers, halved lengthwise and seeded
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
12 slices bacon

DIRECTIONS
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat.
Spread cream cheese to fill jalapeno halves. Wrap with bacon. Secure with a toothpick.
Place on the grill, and cook until bacon is crispy.

Pineapple wrapped with bacon

INGREDIENTS
2 (16 ounce) cans pineapple chunks, drained
1 (10 ounce) jar sweet-and-sour sauce
2 pounds bacon
1 box toothpicks

DIRECTIONS
Place the pineapple in a large bowl, and toss with sweet and sour sauce. Cover, and marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
To prevent burning, place toothpicks in a small bowl of water and soak 10 minutes.
Place a paper towel over a microwave-safe dish and arrange part of the bacon on the towel; cover with another paper towel. Cook the bacon in a microwave oven on medium just until partially cooked and still pliable, 2 to 3 minutes. Repeat with remaining bacon. Cut bacon strips in half.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet and set aside.
Wrap half a bacon strip around each pineapple chunk. Secure bacon with a toothpick, and place on baking sheet. Repeat with remaining bacon and pineapple chunks.
Bake in preheated oven until bacon is crisp, 20 to 30 minutes. Cool 5 minutes before serving.

arbys has a great BLT wrap; if you haven't tried it...it's yum!

Have you ever tried bacon wrapped Yak?

It's a delicacy here......

My daughter-in-law's mother uses cooked bacon in her Potato Salad along with Thousand Island dressing. It is very good. Here are some other uses:

- Oysters wrapped in bacon - (Angels on Horseback)
- Sauteed onions, bacon and shredded cabbage - all cooked together - very yummy
- Twice baked potatoes or Twice baked potato casserole
- Mock potato casserole - same as above but with cauliflower used instead of potatoes and cream cheese in place of sour cream
- BLT salad or sandwich
- Sliced chicken on a croissant with a mixture of cream cheese and cranberry sauce on the bottom slice of the croissant and a slice of bacon on top of the chicken
- A sandwich with alfalfa sprouts, sliced turkey, mashed avocado, cream cheese on the bread, shredded lettuce, slice of tomato, 2 slices of cooked bacon
- diced cooked bacon in potato soup
- diced bacon in your Baked beans along with the salt pork
- diced bacon in your Navy Bean soup along with your ham
(another person already said the shrimp wrapped in bacon but when you do the shrimp, partially cook the bacon or your shrimp will cook too long under the broiler and become tough)
- Green beans with sauteed onions and garlic and diced partially cooked bacon. Bring to the boil and lightly cook the green beans. Drain and butter.
- I've seen fillet mignons wrapped with a slice of bacon
- You can put 3 slices of bacon on top of or underneath meatloaf before you cook it.
- If you take a crepe recipe and 3 half-slices of bacon, you can cook the bacon, drain all but 1 tsp of the drippings, pour the crepe mixture over the bacon in the skillet, stir the pan to thin it out, cook on one side until the edges curl, flip it over and cook on the other side for a minute. The bacon will be in the center of the crepe. All you need is a little syrup.

And the list goes on......
