Any herb, wash it, dry it, put it in a polythene bag and freeze it. When you want chopped herbs, just take the bag out of the freezer and rub vigorusly - it'll instantly 'chop' itself - it'll go mush if your hands are warm. Works well with coriander leaves for curries - but not Basil.

I hate preparing fresh horseradish, it looks like a thin, spindly parsnip that you have to peel then grate - the fumes are like mustard gas and take your breath away!

ONIONS!! They make me cry

I always have trouble with a Swede

I hate chopping garlic, the stench is on your fingers for days...yuck!

onions!!!stinky make your eyes water yuck! herbs i usually would tare them rather than chop

Swede it's so bloomin hard to chop!!!

Mintis easy! Wash it - pat it dry - then cut it up with scissors! MUCH easier than using a knife!

Worst for me is chestnuts to go with the sprouts at Christmas - they ALWAYS get bled on!!!

Basil, but mint is the same thing-- "a fresh green leaf that requires mincing."

I use a roller knife, and most of it stays on the roller.

Better just to nip it with scissors!

All you onion and garlic stinky phobes: Rub your wet hands over metal. Stainless steel works well, but my bathroom faucet is copper and it will also remove the stink. You can buy a soap-bar-shaped piece of stainless steel, but if your sink isn't stainless, just use a spoon!

refrigetate you onions before you cut them up also chew gum while cutting them works for me.

i agree with garlic is worst.

Parsnips. I hate the smell of them

I like the smell of cabbage when its cooking but I don't like how it lingers in the house.

mine is pumpkin- peeling it is a real beeyatch

Winter squashes (like butternut and acorn)! They're rock-hard, and round, so it's a real pain to get the knife into the blasted things to cut them open so you can get the seeds out and cook them!

I love garlic and will eat it with anything, I just don't like preparing the sticky stuff - it really makes me growl.

Although I get in a bit of a mess with it I never use the ready prepared stuff, it has NO flavour taste or "eat me" quality.

So I shall carry on sticky chopping!

The only tip I can give is - keep your knives extremely sharp...xxx

Durian fruit

Chop, Roll, light and enjoy !!!!!

If you still dont know its the herb marrowjuanna. (at least i think thats how its spelt ....... but i really dont care either way !!!)
OHHHHH DISLIKE...... SORRY I THOUGHT YOU SAID LIKE !!!
