Answers: I found this delicous recipe on allrecipes and I have made it before but I found that the marinade was a tad to runny. Do you think I can add corn starch or maybe even flour to thicken it up?

It sounds really good! I use Wondra to thicken sauces and gravies. You can add it to hot liquids and it doesn't get lumpy. In case you don't know what it is, it's a product by Gold Medal. It's a super-sifted flour, and it's a fantastic product!
EDIT: The nice thing about Wondra is that you don't have to mix it with water like you have to with flour or cornstarch; you add it right to whatever you're cooking.
Try a little cornstarch with water. A little goes a long way, and it works almost instantly. Good luck. Happy eating.
Just mix a little corn starch or flour in cold water and dissolve. Then add to the sauce and boil. It shouldn't hurt it.

Whenever I need to thicken sauce I add corn starch. Do so sparingly and mix it well, or it will glob up. After it is mixed you can keep adding it, but corn starch needs to heat up before it thickens so going slow will prevent you from overadding it.

yes I think a little corn starch of fllour would thicken it up. I would heat the sauce up on the stove to get it hot enough for the cornstarch to dissolve then pour mixture over chicken
Wonrda, its a instant thickening agent like flour but wont lump up. I use it for everything I need to thicken.
corn starch will thicken anything, you forgot red wine wow now I am hungry. lol
try sour cream, it has a good consistancy and when its cooked it doesn't change the flavor! That way you still taste what you want to taste! I use it to thicken my sauces!!! It works great!
You probably wouldn't want to use cornstarch or flour to this "sauce" What you can do is reduce it by heating it and allowing it to thicken by reduction.
Use cornstarch, but make SURE you boil it after you add it, and mix up the cornstarch with water first... it thickens much more than you think it would, so careful.
