I bought a small Gingerbread House Kit. It doesn't have enough candies (gumdrops only) what other candy can...!
Answers: be used on the Gingerbread House. It has tons of white frosting. Never made one. Didn't know inside the kit the house was so small....but I will try it. Looking for any exciting ideas for what to decorate with. Thank you.
use small hershey bar square to use as shutters for the windows. red m&ms used as bricks covering the house, twizzlers as drain pipes.....have fun =)
use royal icing and mms and skittles
More gumdrops, marshmallows, licorice strings, hershey kisses, chocolate bars for "brick" walkway.
I saw this at SuperTarget and my kids were begging me to buy it!
Use M&Ms, skittles, gumdrops, jellybeans, hard candies, licorice, jolly ranchers, candy canes, dots, whoppers, reese's pieces, jr mints....

Caramel chips for a pathway to the door.
White chocolate chips for snow around edges.
RedHots for chimney.
Candied fruits for color...walls, etc.
Walnuts pecans cashews and peanuts for roof.
Great answers so far. I did see one that used miniature tootsie rolls as a wood pile in the "yard"
I've never made one either, but you could use m&ms, twizlers, those snow caps(chocolate disks covered in tiny white balls) they have hard candies for the top of cakes in the baking aisle in most stores. Life savers, candy corn, skittles, candy canes, sprinkles, boston baked beans(i dunno if you have them there but they are really good). Rolos, starburst.... hope this helps :)
hot tamales, fill the middle with candy that wont grow stale, also Necco Wafers make awesome shingles,,
If you have kids or have a friend whose kids are finished with their Halloween candy, use what is leftover. This is what I always did with the candy my kids turned their noses up to. It's a great way to use unwanted candy and will save a lot of money by not buying a whole bag for the few pieces you'll need.
