I was at companies years ago. They had this bread bowl. What do use the insides for?!

While we were in San Fransisco we got several bread bowls to eat. They are typically made of sourdough bread and you can fill them with chili, clam chowder or lobster bisque....YUM!

Hard loaf bread at the bakery different flavors but you'll see they're round and have a hard outside shell.

The inside you can put many different dips in there, hummus, spinach/artichoke dip, olive spread, etc...

With the inside that you cut out of the bread to make the whole you can cube it up to use to dip into the dip. Or eat with whatever you have in the fridge.

the bread is typically sourdough, which you can get from your local panera bakery. you can put all sortsa yummy stuff in it, like soup, dips, etc. I always use the inside for breadcrumbs, just run the insides in your blender, then toast until dry. or you could make croutons with them by cubing them up, sprinkling with salt, pepper and herbs, then either fry them in oil or spray them with non stick spray and bake them until crispy.

I like sourdough the best for a bread bowl with soup inside. Use the inside to eat while eating the soup or bake as croutons for a salad.

Pumpernickel bread bowls are fantastic for spinach dip. Cut the insides into cubes to dip into the spinach dip. Makes a beautiful presentation for entertaining.

Lots of other possibilities - lots of dips (crab dip also comes to mind). Yum, now I want one! :)

you go buy round loaf bread (i believe sourdough) anyways you cut the top off and take out the middle and make it into a bowl. with the insides cut them up into strips or pieces and put around the bottom of the bowl to eat with the dip you put in the middle. most common dip is spinach dip.

There are a lot of flavors of bread bowl. I usually get the marble.

I usually put in it a spinach dip mix which consists of:

1 pk frozen spinach drained
1 container of sour cream
1 pk of hidden valley ranch dip mix
