Marshmallow fondant or Rolled fondant icing on top of marzipan covered cake??!

Question: I need to ask one more question!
The rich fruit cake will be covered with marzipan-the final icing I would like to use is Fondant icing, but I would like to know Can I use Marshmallow fondant icing to COVER the cake or must I use the normal rolled fondant icing?will the MM fondant be nice and satiny?
I am a bit unsure if one can use Marshmallow fondant icing
please respond- Thanks

Use the MMF, two reasons, ease of use and taste. If you're concerned about a satiny appearance or the lack of Wilton's Lusture powder is the answer. The MMF will work hand in hand with your Marzipan. (Opinion: rolled fondant is for decoration and not for taste.)
