Does anyone have a recipe for buckeyes that calls for rice krispies?!


Question: BUCKEYES

1 (16 oz.) box confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. melted butter
2 c. peanut butter
3 c. crushed Rice Krispies
1 (12 oz.) bag Nestle's real chocolate morsels
1/2 stick paraffin wax

Mix sugar, butter, peanut butter and Rice Krispies in a large bowl. Blend thoroughly with hands until dough forms. Roll into small balls (approximately 1/4 inch in diameter). Place on an ungreased cookie sheet in the freezer for 5 to 10 minutes to harden.
Melt the chocolate morsels and paraffin wax together in a double boiler. After the chocolate is melted, use a toothpick to dip each ball into the chocolate, leaving an oval space on top to make it look like an Ohio buckeye. Makes approximately 100 buckeyes.

1 lb. powdered sugar
1 stick butter
3 c. Rice Krispies

Melt butter and peanut butter until soft. Add powdered sugar and Rice Krispies. Mix well. Roll into balls. Put on waxed paper - cool.
Melt in double boiler:


1 lg. Hershey bar
16 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1/4 bar paraffin (cut up)

Melt and cover the balls.

BUCKEYES

2 (18 oz.) jar crunchy peanut butter
2 stick butter
2 box powdered sugar
6 c. Rice Krispies
1 stick paraffin
24 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Mix first 4 ingredients with hands. Form 160 to 170 small balls and place on cookie sheet or trays covered with wax paper. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight. Melt paraffin in double boiler with chocolate. Use a toothpick to dip each buckeye in chocolate, leaving a small area at top. Place on wax paper and refrigerate or freeze. Microwave instructions for melting chocolate: melt paraffin on high for 4 minutes. Add chips and melt on medium for 6 minutes.
