What are some of your favorite holiday appetizers?!

Question: More specifically I'm looking for something that will compliment a hot apple cider. I plan to have a cheddar cheese ball with crackers (safe and simple....) but I would like a few more things to put out with it. If it isn't available ready-made, then please include the recipe.
Thank you!
