Does anyone know of a simple yet delicious holiday punch?!
Answers: I really don't have time to research any recipes. So if anyone can give me a great and easy punch recipe...I'll be very thankful.
Yes its called Dirty Punch ( You will see why) lol 1 tub (4-5 qts) Rainbow Sherbert. 2 -2 liter bottles 7up. Just pour both bottles of soda in a punch bowl and add the whole container of sherbert. The punch becomes a discustiing gray color, but taste yummy. Hope you enjoy!
Sprite and Raspberry sherbet.
Or for a hot drink, 1 bottle cranapple juice, 1 bottle apple juice, 1 package of red hot candies. Bring to a slow boil and keep warm.
I know you're asking for punch, but I've never been a fan, so I'll offer my favorite holiday drink recipe. Spiced apple cider with whiskey for the adults, without for the kids.
Heat the cider in a big pot on the stove with cinnamon sticks and whole cloves. If you add the whiskey while it's heating, just be sure it doesn't boil or you'll lose all that alcohol. The whiskey gives it a smokey, woodsy flavor. Ladle it out into coffee cups and enjoy on a cold evening.
Bonus: you're house smells like Christmas after heating up this drink!
Have fun!

Something that is really simple, but not necessarily holiday-ish is to mix ginger ale with white grape juice. You just mix the two until you get the desired taste. You want it a little fizzy so I would put a little more ginger ale in it. To add some festive color to it. Make a frozen fruit ring with cherries and the white grape juice.
This is always a crowd pleaser because it's not too sweet and it's very refreshing.
2 quarts apple cider
2 cups orange juice
1/2 cup lemon juice
12 whole cloves
4 cinnamon sticks
1 pinch ground ginger
1 pinch ground nutmeg
In a slow-cooker or a large pot over low heat, combine apple cider, orange juice and lemon juice. Season with cloves, ginger and nutmeg. Bring to a simmer. If using a slow cooker, allow to simmer all day. Serve hot. You could also add a little cinammon schnapps for the adults.
Yield: 12 servings

Fill 10 more ice cube trays with Libby's Berry Juicy Juice.

Tea Punch (More of a hot weather punch, but still very nice)
2 cups water
2/3 cup sugar
3 tablespoons snipped fresh mint
1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 cups strong brewed tea
1 1-liter bottle club soda, chilled
Ice
Place water, sugar, mint, in a large stainless-steel or nonreactive pan. Bring to boiling; remove from heat and let steep for 20 minutes. Strain mixture to remove mint. Add orange juice, lemon juice, and tea to flavored water; chill. Just before serving, add chilled club soda. Makes about 3 quarts or 16 (6-ounce) servings.
