I just steamed some broccoli, what should I put on top of it?!

Question: I don't want anything creamy or fattening. Are there any spices that would taste good that might kick it up a little bit.

Squeeze some lemon juice on it and some pepper.

adobo

I like to squeeze a lemon over it, and salt it.
Drizzle a little butter over it. Enjoy!

How about some fat-free Catalina salad dressing? Or low-fat Ranch? Whatever flavor salad dressing you like would go good on top of it - if you can find it in a low-fat version.

Try some cajun spices.

Red onion, makes broccoli taste a little sweet when boil with it. Garlic salt is good too. Just got to try different ones to make your taste buds happy. Good luck. Take care.

try the lemon juice-soy sauce mix

i add garlic, tyhme oregeno and basil, not too much but just a little adds great flavor, OR really simply, heat up a little italian dressing and pour over

Olive oil and balsamic vinegar, Olive oil is 'negative' calories and is very good for you. Or just the vinegar with basil or salt.

Cheddar cheese!

Lemon Juice and pepper would be the best for taste and it is actually fat free.

olive oil and salt, instead of butter, lemon and pepper.

Butter; a dash of salt; pepper.

Used IN MODERATION, butter is not as fattening as you may think. I've lost over thirty pounds and I still use real butter -- not that test-tube-man-made CRAP called 'butter substitutes' or margarine. And yes, my heart is quite healthy!

soy sauce and a tad bit of ground ginger and shake of garlic powder
pour on broccoli and let sit a minute to blend spices. reheat if you need to.

A juicy, medium-rare Porterhouse steak on top would make the broccolli taste pretty good. Good times!!!

Gruyere cheese! If you are looking for something for something a little healthier, I like to chop up the broccoli into bite sizes and let cool. Then, mix with 2 parts red wine vinegar to 1 part olive oil, pepper, and salt.
