Have you ever had a banana, mayonaise, and peanutbutter sandwich?!

Question: Oh, Yes! I used to eat them all the time! When we used to go visit my grandfather in Kentucky every summer, all my aunts would make banana croquettes. Have you ever tasted any of those? It was a staple at every meal except breakfast. They were made with a special homemade mayonnaise. Store-bought was no good. The peanuts were ground up very fine. The bananas were sliced, covered with the homemade mayo; then rolled around in the finely ground peanuts. Now that was some good eating! The sandwiches you mention remind me so much of those banana croquettes from long ago. Grams

All but the mayonnaise, I'll try anything once.

I've had a bite of a peanut butter, mustard, and cheddar cheese sandwich...neat.

I've always liked banana/peanut butter sandwiches, but
I prefer to hold the mayo and the lettuce.

i actually like pretzels and potato chips on white bread with mayonnaise yummy

then butter the outside of the bread and grill it on the stove, that was elvis p's favorite sandwich. yummy!
