Holiday Poke Cupcakes

INGREDIENTS
1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix
1 cup boiling water
1 pkg. (4 serving size) JELL-O Brand Gelatin, any red flavor
1 (8 ounce) tub COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed
Red or green food coloring
Suggested decorations: colored sugar, colored sprinkles, crushed candy canes and/or JET-PUFFED HOLIDAY MALLOWS Marshmallows

DIRECTIONS
Prepare batter and bake as directed for cupcakes. Cool in pans 10 min. Pierce tops with fork.
Stir boiling water into dry gelatin mix until dissolved; spoon over cupcakes. Refrigerate 30 min. Remove from pans.
Tint whipped topping with food coloring; spread over cupcakes. Decorate as desired. Store in refrigerator.


How to Easily Poke Holes in Cupcakes

Use a meat fork to make the holes in the cupcakes to fill with the dissolved gelatin.

Variation

Omit food coloring.

we pimped them up!

CRAZY CHICKEN

8 to 10 boned and skinned chicken breasts
1 lg. can pineapple tidbits
1 can whole cranberry sauce
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 sm. bottle French dressing

Place chicken breasts in large baking pan in single layer. Sprinkle dry onion soup mix over chicken. Mix pineapple with juice, cranberry sauce and French dressing. Pour over chicken. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Uncover and continue cooking for 45 minutes longer. Spoon sauce over chicken to serve. 6 to 8 servings.
It's a crazy combination but it's good!
