Anyone know anything about cooking in a toaster oven?!

Question: So I was thinking of buying a large toaster oven, 6-slice that can also heat up a 12 in pizza. My question is : what else can be cooked/baked in it? Like what about pies and cakes, or cookies? I've made chicken and baked other food items in one but was wondering about baking desserts.

******My oven went out in the '70s so consequently I use a toaster oven for virtually everything, I suggest if your going to make pizza from scratch to get a wire pizza screen to put the dough on, I have made Cookies, Biscuits, cinnamon rolls, 2 layer cakes, chicken, scallop, twice baked & French fried Potatoes, will virtually anything that will go in a regular oven,
Just in smaller volume at least that way it limit your leftovers

as long as it will fit, it's fine to cook and bake with. It heats up much faster than a conventional oven. I'd be lost without mine. I use it everyday.

i cooked my mom in a toaster oven before .!

ooohhh burn.

anything can be cooked in it....
but dont try to cook ice cream.

If you want to use it for baked goods, I would recommend you get a toaster oven with convection capability. Normal toaster ovens don't heat evenly enough for cookies and cakes.

I have a regular toaster oven that I have baked cookies, muffins ,etc in with no problems. Have also done small cakes. You don't need a convection one.
