Would you like to receive a homemade cookbook as a gift?!

Question: Or do prefer to go out and buy your own?

Answers: Or do prefer to go out and buy your own?

Yes, I'd prefer a homemade cookbook of home kitchen recipes over a commercial one. They tend to be good family recipes that can actually be made in one's home rather than in a commercial kitchen.

I have several cookbooks ranging from my old, reliable 21 year old Better Homes and Gardens cookbook to The Cruise Ship Cookbook, but I usually cook from recipes passed to me from friends and family.

I collect cookbooks and I would love to get a homemade one as a present - I would know that all the recipes have been tried and loved by my friend and/or family member giving it to me. I like to receive homemade presents as it is.

homemade so i know that they taste good and that some cared for me and made it just for me =]

plus i can learn from that person, so if i ever have them come over for dinner i can look in it and know what they'd like

I think a homemade cookbook would be a great gift.

I'll give me you my home address after! :)

jk

yup! i'd prefer a homemade one actually.

I would appreciate a home made cookbook. Even if I didn't try all the recipes it's still nice to know that someone took the time to create something for you. As a thank you I would probably cook something out of the book for you!

If the cookbook is a collection of recipes from family and friends, yes. I don't care much for store bought ones ,too many yucky stuff that I would never eat. Give me some comfort food like my grandma made.

I would prefer home made....shows that alot of time and care went into it.

I wold prefer a homemade cookbook, since it comes from someone that I know, and probably have similar taste when it comes to food.
