How would you go about cooking a skinless turkey?!
Any input is greatly appreciated, Thanks!
Answers: I'm health conscious and this thanksgiving I would like to cook a turkey without the skin. How would I go about making a skinless turkey from start to finish? (This is just for my husband and I and he doesn't mind it skinless)
Any input is greatly appreciated, Thanks!
I would bake it just like always, except I would cover with foil. You can poke toothpicks in the top part of the turkey to keep the foil from sticking to it. But the foil should hold in moisture in your turkey, and I would put canned broth in the bottom of the pan or a water-mixed bullion of your liking.
Hi, I guess salad wld be the best choice for u, if not how abt a turkey sandwich? Both are healthy choices, lOl!! All the best! =)
Leave the skin on it while cooking in the oven and then remove the skin when you are rady to eat. The skin will help keep the juices in the meat, help add flavor, and you can use the skin to hold seasonings placed between the skin and meat.
skin has lots of cholesterol and I wish KFC would remove because I like their 7 Herbs and Spices Recipe
we dip remove skin and dip chicken in beaten eggs and coat with cracker meal
For Cooking a Skinless Turkey:
FIRST STEP: Get big frying pan and turn heat 3/4 high, and SEAR ALL SIDES TIL LIGHTLY BROWN, this will help seal in the juices.
Rotisserie Cooker is best, stuff with pineapples to sweeten and keep moist
and add Spices to your liking:

Use Skewer to poke lots of holes in it and use drippings in tray to base it every 10 minutes.
The Skin off will allow the outer layer to get crunchy and Caramelized it,
put some hickory chips in to smoke it after 1/2 cooked
then last 20minutes of baking wrap in Reynolds wrap and place in the oven and shimmer; to lock in the juices and the Convection will steam it; take out of oven keep covered with another layer so the seasons will marinate make it taste yummy and cut and serve at table
use a Swanson or Wolfgang Puck Turkey Broth with your base to make plenty of gravy with flour
stuffing is the best dish with that and parsley sprigs as garnish
i don't practically like cranberry sauce but I have some for the fun of it.
Yes that nice that everyone has something their way, my brother has to have corn pudding
Happy Turkey Holiday!
