Does anyone know how to make frosting with oreo cookie filling?!

Question: In my childhood I knew a lady who made really good cakes, with the most delicious frosting I've ever tasted. And I've never been able to find that same flavor. But the other day as I was eating oreo filling (by itself because the cookie is gross) I thought it tasted a bit like the frosting I had on my cakes.

Sickly sweet... LOL

The problem is probably that you haven't really had REAL homemade icing since you were a kid. Store bought and even restaurant bought is usually not as good as the homemade.

Here ya go... try this one...

2 cups confectioners sugar
3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon PURE vanilla extract

Stir it all together until it is smooth. I'm willing to bet that it taste like your oreo cookies filling :)

It might have been seven minute frosting. BRB with a weblink :)

Oreo cookie filling IS frosting. That's why they tasted like it to you. If you want that on a cake, just scrape it off, stir it to soften, then spread it on the cake.

Use the whole oreo cookie. Put them in a food processor and blend til fine.
Add them to a bowl and add a can of vanilla frosting to it and stir and then ice your cake.
