How can I get my Pumpkin Rolls from NOT cracking??!

Question: I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem & how they corrected it? I did the damp towl method and it seemed to stick a little (sure that contributed to the cracking, ugh) Next time I think I'm just going to roll in powder sugared parchment paper. Would that be better? I also think perhaps I was trying to roll it too tight? Thoughts? Advice? I made it today bc I wanted to perfect it before Thursday...

Thanking you in advance. :)

I have had them crack on me when I bake them too long. I have never used the damp towel method. I bake mine on parchment paper, then flip it over on sugared linen towel. Keep trying.

No idea how to solve your problem, but I'll take all the cracked ones. I love pumpkin!!!!!!
