I've added too much garlic to my beef stew PLEASE help!?!
However, I decided to add some garlic salt to it to give it a little more flavor, but I put too much in, now its over powering the whole thing.
ANYTHING i can add to fix this? any ingredients? please help.
Answers: Im making the beef stew in the crock pot. Im using the Beef stew package especially made for crock pots. So all of the ingredients are already included.

add some beef broth or tomato juice
Add some honey.
I have not ever had "TOO much Garlic" but try adding more potatoes to absorb the extra flavor. Onions may work as well
Sugar will counteract garlic, however you might not like the flavor of sugar in beef stew either. the only other best way to defeat garlic is to make a bigger batch, leaving out the garlic, mix the two batches and freeze some.
peeled potatoes or carrots. but u can never add too much garlic, yum!
Do you know what is a cook? Do you realy know what is food? Don't kid with the food... .... may bee is better.
If it is too salty add a couple of raw potatoes to the mix and pull them out about half way through the cooking time and throw them away. Taste the broth at this point in time and if is helping repeat with more raw potatoes. This will help with the saltiness and will some what tame the garlic flavor.
