Can you cook kippers in a George Foreman grill, or will they disintegrate and fall apart?!

Question: Kippers are already cooked - I wouldn't use the GF grill, everything will taste of kipper afterwards, no matter how much you scrub! Either put them in boiling water or in the microwave, in a non-metallic bowl covered in cling film (pierce it) and add a lump of butter and a tablespoon of water, heat for 2 mins, test for heat and do again if necessary. You can do them under the ordinary grill, but you'll still be smelling them Christmas day if you do..............
