How long in the crockpot?!

Question: I am going to heat some homemade soup in the crockpot for my guests for lunch tomorrow while teaching classes. How long will it take before it is heated? How early should I start it and should I put it on high or low? The soup is already cooked and refrigerated, just needs to heat.

Turn it on high until it warms and then reduce to low to keep it. I would expect that 1/2 hour on high followed by another 1/2 hour on low and your soup should be warmed to the proper temperature.

Low and slow should be just fine.

couple of hours on low should do it. Check on it and if it isn't getting hot enough, turn it on high.
