Has anyone used the recipe that uses evaporated milk and chocolate chips for fudge? How did it turn out?!

Question: Super good! We always use evaporated milk. Sometimes we use baker's chocolate-but chocolate chips should work well

It's awesome. You can even make it in the microwave that way. The only key is not to overheat it or the chocolate will burn and get hard before you're ready for it too.

makes for really great fudge but for evaporated milk and chocolate chips nothing will ever beat magic cookie bars!! SOOO DARN SCRUMPTIOUS:)

My mom made that many many times. She used the fudge as a base for something called "Chocolate Sheet Cake".

A very rich dessert, you never could handle more than one slice.

I must be the one with the bad luck, because it didn't work out for me. Now I only make microwave fudge. Here's my recipe in case you want to try it.

1 box confectioner's sugar
1/2 c cocoa powder (adjust depending on how strong you like it)
1 stick butter

Put the above in microwave on low till butter is almost completely melted. Remove and stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla, and enough milk to mix thoroughly. At this point you can add other things like nuts, fruits, or marshmallows. Pour into lightly greased 8x8 pan and chill for at least several hours.

This is very rich, so cut into small pieces and enjoy!

i did and i didnt like it to much i like a softer fudge . and the semi sweet chocolate chips were to much for me
