These are not the most tender cuts of beef, but can be if marinated before cooking (overnight is best). Either the teriyaki sauce with additional soy if desired, plus a tsp. or two of ginger and/or garlic would be a good marinade. Or, use the BBQ sauce with some Worcestshire added for an extra 'punch'. Meat could be cubed for kabobs broiled in the oven, or sliced thin for a stir-fry. Or, put them in a baking dish, pour the sauce/marinade over them, cover with foil and bake at about 300 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, remove the foil and turn the oven up to broil for about 5 mins. (will reduce the amount of liquid)...the slower cooking should tenderize the meat.

yuck yuck ycuk yuck yuck yuck grss poo sweat gross i m gald im not eating it

There are lots of things you can do with beef. You can do a beef stew.Pepper steak, Beef strogonoff, what do you want to do with it.These recipes can be found on the net.good luck

Put them in a pan with carrots, potatoes, celery, mushrooms and onions. Sprinkle with seasoning salt and black pepper. Bake on center oven rack at 400 for 1 hour. (Oh yeah, cover with aluminum foil before cooking.)

Are you sure they are round steaks? I've never seen them cut that thick. If they are round steaks, then I feel they will be tough and you will need to cook them so they will be tender.
As for all the sauces, forget it, doesn't even sound good. I would slice the round steak into strips, and make pepper steak, stir fry, or something like that.

Cut your meat into thin strips across the grain, heat some oil in your frying pan and saute them until done to your liking. Remove from heat, drain most of oil off, stir in your teriyaki, and serve over rice. If you have onions, peppers, pineapple, broccoli, snow peas, carrots or the like, add them, too, after the beef is cooked and before the sauce.

NO!

Please do not overcook and treat these like a roast. I get chills just reading the previous posts.

Marinate for about 2 hours - can do overnight but you need to use a lot of olive oil. Teriyaki sauce is too strong for an overnight marinade and breaks the tissue down too much causing the meat to shred and get "mealy". You should not "marinate" with barbecue sauce. It is for basting while cooking. Soy sauce is ok as an additive to a marinade, but should not be the entire thing,

Marinade:

1 spoon jarred garlic (or 4 toes crushed)
1/4 tsp clove
3 T Worcestershire
1 T salt
dash of soy
shake the pepper shaker a few times
pour this and the steaks into a ziplock bag
Add enough Olive oil to coat the steaks pretty thouroughly

let them sit for 2 hours - 24 hours (anything over 2 hours should be done in the fridge)

THEN:

Rub the steaks with crushed garlic and salt.
put them in a frying pan that can go in the oven.
sear the steak edges over high heat
put them in the broiler and broil as if they were STEAK not roast.

I tend to prefer Medium Rare myself.

You can make a great dipping sauce with teriyaki and/or barbecue sauce, but I have always just used butter.
