What kind of platter or tray should I serve pumpkin bread on?!
Answers: I am taking pumpkin bread to a Thanksgiving dinner. What should I take it on?
Serve it on a wood cutting board, just cover the underside of the board with a decorative towel or large napkin, folding the towel over the top of the bread neatly, keeping it clean for the car trip. You can also serve the bread with whipped or honey flavored butter placed in dishes set to the side of the bread with a knife for cutting and spreading.
Try to time it so the bread is piping hot from the oven when you leave, then hopefuly it will still be warm and aromatic when you arrive.
Take it on Beowulf's shield...that'll make a statement.
just kidding...use whatever pretty plates, trays, or platters you have
I'll stand there and hold it for you, give me the address. of course I may eat it all but i'll bet you're willing to take that chance
it really depends on how big the bread is and the presentation you're making.
I would recommend slicing the bread, then, using a large round platter, fanning the slices out. To do this, overlap them in a circular fashion (it'll look like you just toppled them in a domino effect) around the edge, tucking the last one in the circle under the first in order to create a ring) with some sort of decoration in the middle (bowl of icing, maybe? I think that'd be tasty!).
How about placing it on a pretty cloth napkin and tucking it into a woven basket? That might be kind of cute. Definitely fall-inspired.
